Flavor: The year is 2078, society is controlled by a mega Bidet corporation. The citizens are disarmed, and the people's only hope for overthrowing the dictators is a cursed skull that has a demon locked within. Once unleashed, the demon's power grows overtime and it has one goal: kill everyone in sight.

Control:

K (When demon is locked in)-Unleash demon

K(When demon is unleashed)-Throw skull, re-seal the demon if in contact.

L-Throw demon fruit, heals demon and lure the demon to charge towards it

There is currently no win-state, and once you've played all the content of this game once you cleared the X-shaped room. You lose if either you or the demon loses all HP.

Collect the face thing to heal and gain exp.

Hope you enjoy it! This is the first ever game I've made, and it's very, very unfinished and unpolished (lots of the assets are really just placeholders that I didn't have time to switch out LOL), but I'm still pretty happy with what I made. Constructive feedbacks would be greatly appreciated.

I did not create assets used in this game.

Not gonna lie, good tbh.

but i'm confused a little bit sometimes-

This is really fun. The controls are a little difficult. But releasing a beast into the world is really cool and works out great.

So glad you liked it!

My thought process behind making the controls difficult was to make sure it's not too easy to seal back the demon and capture the feeling of an unwieldy, untamed beast. I think should've made a prototype with mouse control to see how that would feel.

Well what would have worked for me is if you could hold down the throw button without having it throw when the throw-power is maxed out. This way I have a moment to aim before it goes off. (Like most grenades in first person shooters.)

Oh and don't be afraid to make your game jam game to easy. (because If other people play it it will often turn out to be too hard for them.)

that makes a lot of sense! Thank you so much.
